Splendid Spoon: Healthy Meal Delivery Review!
Just so you know, I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post, but it won’t affect the price you pay at all! All opinions are my own and I only recommend products I have tried and loved. I have a full affiliate disclosure that you can find here. I am not a medical professional and nothing I write is intended as medical advice.
Want to make your life easier and your day less stressful? I highly recommend subscribing to a meal delivery service (or two) like Splendid Spoon. I’ve been enjoying meal delivery services since my Multiple Sclerosis related fatigue made it too difficult for me to cook nourishing meals for myself at the end of the day so I’ve tried quite a few. Having healthy nutritious food delivered to me directly has been a life-saver on my high pain days and even on average days, especially now because of the Covid19 Pandemic.
What makes Splendid Spoon different from other meal delivery services?
Their plans are designed to help you create easy and healthy eating habits. With over 50 ready-to-eat meals, you don’t have to stress about meal planning, grocery shopping, or cooking a meal with just five minutes between zoom meetings while working from home.
I don’t follow a strict diet (but yes, I have tried quite a few), but I know that eating a variety of nutritious foods is critical to my overall health and wellness. Nor am I a vegan, but I do not eat a ton of meat. Splendid Spoon is one of the only meal delivery programs I’ve found that is satisfying and delicious. You can save $50 on your first order now through 11/20/20 with this link! Plus, the meals are all:
- Low In Sodium
- No added sugars
As they say, “We work hard with our nutritionist and chef-partners to create clean ingredient labels.” Nice, right?! Personally, I was surprised with how much I loved the Mint Chip Smoothie. It tastes like a delicious treat, but it’s full of inflammation fighting veggies and fruits. I totally added ice and blended it like a frappe!
I also loved the Butternut Turmeric soup, which is the perfect comfort food lunch on a cold day here in New England. Did you know that Butternut squash lowers and regulates blood pressure? Plus, Turmeric is known to be one of nature’s best anti-inflammatory’s.
Craving takeout but trying to cut back on extra spending?
The new Noodle Bowls from Splendid Spoon really satisfied my Chinese food craving. And I didn’t have the delivery fees and upset stomach I usually experience after ordering takeout! My personal favorite is the Sesame Noodles bowl, which is full of healthy veggies including shiitake mushrooms. In Chinese medicine, shiitakes are thought to support the stomach, and lungs. They cleanse the Qi and nourish the blood. I’ve started a daily Qi Gong practice this year so I find learning about Qi and holistic health very interesting!
Want to Feel Good About What You’re Eating; Without Spending Hours in the Kitchen?
