New Year Goals & Chronic Illness
This week I had the honor of being Damian Washington‘s guest on the No Stress MS Vlog!
Damian is an actor, rapper, nerd and all-around funny AF Multiple Sclerosis Advocate with a super cute dog too.
We talked about the importance of settings goals when you have a chronic illness and how to go about it in a way that isn’t going to make you end up feeling BAD about yourself either!
Here are some of our takeaway tips for setting goals while living with an unpredictable chronic illness like Multiple Sclerosis:
🌟Put Yourself at the Top of the List
🌟Show Up more often than not (however that looks for you on any given day)
🌟PIVOT when needed
🌟Write your goals down, keep them top of mind and in your face
🌟Break your goals down into small achievable tasks
And remember, you don’t have to wait for a New Year to change your goals!
